Nexus Media Importer allows import stream music, video, photos documents from a USB flash drive SD card connected Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus, Android 3.2+ devices USB Host support. T only non-root solion devices not provide native support external flash storage. Requires follow hardware:


1) An Android 3.2+ device. Examples include Google Nexus devices Motorola Xoom.

2) A USB OTG (On-The-Go) cable. Cost roximately $1 USD Amazon), see screenshots examples.

3) A USB Flash Drive USB SD Card Reader SD Card, see screenshots examples.


To use:

-If are us an SD card reader, p card reader first.

-Attach OTG cable Nexus device.

-Attach USB device OTG cable.

-The lication will launch aomatily.

-Select file. The selected file’s path ears preview window (currently only photos show preview).

-Click play icon stream save (disk) icon

-If save successful, click download notification view it see it Downloads .


Techni Notes:


-DOES NOT REQUIRE ROOT!

-The USB drive/flash card must be matted FAT16, FAT32 NTFS (currently no exFAT extN support). FAT & NTFS are most common mats SD USB Drives.

-Read Only. You not write attached device, only copy Android device.

-T a media streamer file copy ility. It requires third party software view mulmedia content read documents. Many mats are supported directly by Android, b are not.
